1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FryerScan ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

FryerScan is an AI-powered service that converts food package cooking instructions into optimized airfryer settings. The Service includes:

  • Image analysis and conversion of cooking instructions
  • Storage of scan history and favorites
  • Integrated cooking timer functionality
  • Premium features for unlimited scans (with subscription)

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Free and Premium Plans

4.1 Free Plan

  • 3 scans per week (resets every Monday)
  • Basic conversion features
  • Scan history and favorites
  • Access to all core features

4.2 Premium Plan

  • Unlimited scans
  • All free plan features
  • Priority support
  • Ad-free experience

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the billing period ends
  • Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase (see Refund Policy)

Payments are processed securely through Mollie. We do not store your payment card information.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the period ends.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any images and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and process your images for the purpose of providing the Service
  • Use anonymized data to improve our AI models and service quality
  • Display your content within your account (scan history, favorites)

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit. Do not upload content that violates any laws or third-party rights.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Update features and functionality
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
  • Change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, cooking results may vary based on your airfryer model, food quality, and other factors. Always use your judgment and follow food safety guidelines.

Service "As Is": The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by FryerScan and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
